MAP
Features
Monoammonium phosphate - MAP - is produced by reacting purified phosphoric acid with ammonia, under strictly controlled production conditions. It has the highest phosphorus level of any inorganic feed grade phosphate on the market: 26% of P. |
This product has been developed for use in ruminants (capable of using nitrogen in the rumen for protein synthesis) and for aquaculture. The integration of MAP in a fish's diet makes it possible to significantly decrease the Ca/P ratio, thus improving the digestibility of phosphorus and making its use practical in terms of formula cost. |
Plus of product
- High concentration of phosphorus (26% P)
- High solubility in water (> 98%)
- Low pH
- High digestibility
